The base of this piece is cut out of 1/2" steel plate, which provides an aesthetic profile as well as a nicely weighted body for the piece. All the parts of this piece were run through the forge, as to provide texture and old school elegance. A much nicer display stand than the generic and gaudy leather and velvet displays that plague a good number of retail environments.
