This is not only a striking conversation piece, but serves as an added deterrent for crime. Inserts like this one would be perfect for a city setting. Although possessing some symetry, I like the fact that the lines aren't just perfect...in fact, the loose composition coupled with it's organic texture and erratic lines is exactly what makes this piece so aestheically pleasing. Pictures don't do this insert justice... it demands physical interaction. I categorize this piece as nouveau contemporary wrought iron. Torn Metal series. Signed and dated.
